Xmas Gift

I have been busy working on this lovely free design by my friend Jenny ,which i so enjoyed stitching.

I decided to put some peepers around the design.

Then i picked this pretty flower border, these colours will go in my DD 2's bedroom.

My friend Cathy went to the Dandenongs near Melb to a doll making class and she really enjoyed it.

She is up to putting the hair in with a needle a very long process but she is slowly getting there.

Look at these lovely free designs by my buddy Michelle,i have printed them off and i am going to take them into office works and make them smaller by 50% and then i am going to stitch them onto little xmas bags .
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers Sheryl xx

That stitchery is wonderful!
I also love Michelle's cute design.
It looks time consuming to put hair on the doll, but doll making looks like a cozy hobby. :-)

Another pretty stitch project and the flower border is perfect for it. Looking forward to seeing how you stitch the new patterns too.

Lovely stitching! But the doll is a bit creepy to me. That's a hobby I won't be tempted to take up.

For being Pagan any how Jesus is pretty cool dude. It been a while since I did any type of stitching. Believe last thing I done was pair of pillow cases.

Sheryl - thanks SO MUCH for your recent visit to my blog, as it prompted me to come see you! What an inspirational post - love the quote at the end, especially. My dear neighbor friend is just this sort of person, and I do try to tell her regularly! Enjoy your weekend!

You do such beautiful work with the stitching. That looks fabulous and I love the colors you chose.
The doll making class sounds like fun but I doubt I would have the patience for putting in all that hair.

I’d love to go on a doll making course. I just missed out on one the beginning of the month which
I was annoyed about. Would have loved going round the doll shop too. That is a good idea about getting the images reduced to a more manageable size. Christmas is creeping up on us. Hugs Mrs A.
