Bits & Pieces

I got another project ready for traveling ,i have wanted to make this candle mat for awhile.

I also decided to put some heavy interfacing in behind these xmas decorations to give them a bit more body.

I was happy to get a lovely doona cover and cushions when spotlight had a half off sale a few weeks ago, plus i managed to get some lovely white with a navy polka dot flannelette sheets for the bed as well.

We have had heaps of kangaroos in our yard every day for awhile now and i never get tired of watching them.
Got to see 2 bucks having a shuffle yesterday it gave me quite a fright, but it was over as soon as it started as one backed away quite quickly after the first punch.

This young mum had a joey in her pouch and i tried quite a few times to get a picture of the little joey with its head out ,but i kept missing the shot.

I hope your day is a good one.
cheers Sheryl xx

  1. Your van looks lovely, and cozy winter sheets are certainly necessary with winter traveling. You should be lovely and warm in your well dressed bed! I always like to take projects too when we go away. Where are you off to?

  10. Love your snowman candle mat and it is a good idea putting the interfacing behind the decos. Love your bedding! Quite swish for a van. You will be travelling in style. Such a blessing having roos on your doorstep. It would keep me amused for hours.

  11. Happy travels in your lovely van!

I'm a bit jealous of your roos. We find their droppings all over our front grass, but never see them in person. They must be coming for a feed at night.
